Bond Grade 5 Filmmaking at TIFF

On November 8th, the Grade 5 students at Bond Academy had a trip to downtown Toronto to enjoy a special learning experience at TIFF Bell Lightbox.

The Grade 5 students participated in a workshop called “Film in a Day”. They wrote the scripts, pitched the ideas, and completed shooting a short film at TIFF.

According to the Coordinator of School & Family Programmes at TIFF, this workshop is a favorite with educators and students of all ages. “It encourages students to experience the art of filmmaking first-hand and work collaboratively during the process.”

Everyone had a very good time, and look forward to seeing the edited film!
