Bond’s Grade 2-5 Classes Took A Trip to the Evergreen Brick Works

On November 17th, the Bond students from Grades 2 to 5 who were interested in eco education and helping Junior Council this year with their eco initiatives, were invited on a trip to Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto.

“The students participated in urban hikes and learned about bats and bees. With the instructors, the students learned how to attract pollinators to a wild garden. ” said Ms. Billing, a Bond Teacher and one of the Organizers of this event. “The children also learned how to build a bee house, a bird feeder and even a bat house.”

Everyone had a great time learning all this knowledge on a field trip.
