Bond Choirs “Sing Out” for Senior’s Homes in the Community

With Christmas just around the corner, Bond’s Junior and Senior Choirs continued one of their annual holiday traditions – visiting different local Senior’s Homes in the community.

On December 19th and 20th, the members of the Bond Choirs, together with their teachers, visited some retirement homes in Scarborough. The students performed Christmas carols which the residents and the employees enjoyed very much.

According to Ms. Harvey, the Vocal Music Teacher at Bond, the Choirs have visited local senior’s homes to bring them some joy during the holiday season for a few years as a Bond tradition. She and some choir members handed out the lyrics sheets and small instruments to invite the audience to sing along.

Bond students’ beautiful singing brought smiles to the faces of those in attendance and filled the room with holiday cheer.
