Bond Students Volunteered at Local Community

On December 21st and 22nd, Bond Secondary students volunteered at Ellesmere Community Centre to help the annual Project Engagement program

This is the fourth year for Bond students to volunteer in this meaningful program to help those in need. It has been a great opportunity for our international students to understand a bit more about Canadian culture and that people help each other in the community.

“Volunteering during these two days is a valuable experience for me. Working together with other volunteers is great. Thank you Bond for providing us this opportunity to learn the importance of being kind to each other.” said Xu, Yaning, an International student at Bond. “We are happy to be a part of this program because the nutritious Christmas food boxes that we are assembling here today can actually help hundreds of Canadian families in need during this holiday season.”
