We are the Champions! On October 1st, 2014, students from Grades 1 to 8 from Bond Academy’s Elementary school participated against six other Toronto schools in a Cross Country meet held at Withrow Park. Bond’s Cross Country team came first overall and won the Withrow Cup - for the second year in a row. Well done! Congratulations to all involved!

  The Terry Fox Run
  On October 2nd, 2014, staff and students from Bond Academy/Bond International College participated in the annual Terry Fox Run. Once again, Bond demonstrated its’ outstanding dedication and enthusiasm to charity through this activity. The total amount raised for this very worthy cause this year, is in excess of $5,000.
  Wildness Excursion to Camp Wanakita
  Bond Academy students, in Grades 6, 7 and 8, went on a wildness excursion to Camp Wanakita in Haliburton, ON, from October 8th to October 10th, 2014. This year at Wanakita was a very exciting and enjoyable time for the students and teachers at Bond. While at the camp the students gain survival and outdoor skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
  A Wonderful Day at Sunnybrook Park Cross Country
  It was a wonderful day for the Cross-Country team members who participated in our SSAF tournament on Friday, October 17th, 2014! All students put forth a valiant effort through very wet and muddy terrain. It was especially gratifying to see so many red t-shirts at many of the starting lines and in top place at the finishing lines.
  Grade 10 Mock Election
  The grade 10 civics class students learned about active citizenship by participating in a mock election. Working in groups, students created their own political parties representing leadership in Canada. The students developed political policies in the areas of education, economics, and society and participated in lively classroom debates.
  Bond at Toronto Private Expo
  On October 18th, 2014 Bond Academy participated in the annual Toronto Private School Expo at Roy Thomson Hall. At the fair, we answered questions pertaining to both our Elementary and Secondary programs. Information on such topics as our Academic, Arts and Athletic curriculums and the benefits for the students and parents in studying at Bond, were shared with the families.
  Community Building Activity Day
  On Thursday, October 23rd, Bond Academy held a Community Building Activity Day event for Grades 7 to 10. Throughout the day, the importance of team work and effective leadership was stressed as students competed in Treasure Hunts, Obstacle Courses and Human Foosball competitions. Students formed new friendships and further strengthened the community atmosphere at Bond Academy.
  McMaster University Tour
  On October 25th, Bond International College Grade 12 students participated in the McMaster "Open House". It was a wonderful opportunity for students to experience first hand life in a University environment and helped them in determining their own future goals. This trip allowed them to learn about university life, talk to McMaster students and receive advice from representatives from different departments.
  English Speakers Learn Chinese November 23rd
  The HSK Toronto Centre (at Bond) is honored to have Sarah Kutulakos, Executive Director of Canada China Business Council (CCBC), give a keynote speech on English Speakers Learning Chinese on Sunday, November 23rd, Room 100 at Bond Education Group.
