On May 28th 2015 the high school students of Bond Academy were whisked away to a “Night in Paris”. This year’s prom was held at Spirale Banquet Hall located at 888 Don Mills Road in Toronto. The hall was decorated in an elegant black and white décor with blue accents. Students, teachers and staff participated in games, blew bubbles, took pictures in the photo booth and enjoyed music into the night.

  Volunteer Activity for LLSC
  On May 23rd and 24th a few students from our school volunteered at a local Beer Store to help raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC). A combined effort of Local 12R24 and The Beer Store (Ontario's beer retailer), "Returns for Leukemia" is the hugely successful bottle drive where donations of customers' bottle deposits go directly to support the research efforts of the LLSC.
  Lakeridge Teambuilding Trip
  On Tuesday, May 26th, Bond’s Grade 7, 8 and 9 students participated in a Teambuilding workshop at Lakeridge Ski Resort. The purpose of the trip was to build a stronger BOND between our elementary and secondary school students, while participating in a series of activities that stressed the importance of teamwork, communication and problem solving skills.
  Track and Field Tournament
  Track and field is a sport which combines various athletic contests based on the skills, work and dedication towards running, jumping, and throwing. This year the track and field tournament was held at Terry Fox Stadium in Brampton. Our team included 34 U10 Bond students who participated in 100M, 400M, 800M, and relay running events.
  "Tempest" performed successfully by Bond Drama Club
  On Thursday, June 4th,Bond Drama Club performed a play named "The Tempest ". Directed by Mark Rodrigues, 15 cast memebers, 14 chorus members and 4 crews participated in the performance and 60 parents and teachers enjoyed the show as the audience. Teamwork contributed to the successful performance and every one did a good job!
  Field Trip to the Toronto Zoo
  On Friday June 5th, 2015 our Grade 9 Science and Grade 12 Biology went on a field trip to the Toronto Zoo. The Toronto Zoo classes many benefits to our students as they came face-to-face with over 5000 animals, and 10 km of walking trails to explore. This captivating learning environment, is a great way to apply knowledge learned in class, and encourage an awareness of how all life is interconnected.
  Enlighten Bond Science Students at Laser Quest
  Led by Jeremy Keetch,the grade 10 Science teacher,students went to Laser Quest on Monday June 9th to have some fun while learning about an application of our optics strand of the course. It was a great field trip and it's really the case of "Enlighten your Students at Laser Quest"!
  Bond Academy’s Spring Concert 2015
  Bond Academy’s Year End Concert was held on Thursday, June 11th, 2015. The concert was titled “A Celebration of Summer and Fun” and was divided into two shows. The first featured students in Montessori/Kindergarten to grade three, and the second featured students in grades four to eight. In both shows, students sang and played songs about activities associated with summer and/or fun.
  Bond Secondary Graduation 2015
  The Bond Academy and Bond International College Graduation and Prize Giving serves as an opportunity for students and staff to reflect on the academic year at Bond while casting an excited glance toward the future.
  Bond Grade 8 Graduation Ceremony 2015
  The Bond Academy Grade 8 Graduation evening was a wonderful tribute to the hard work of our students. Subject awards and special awards for the arts and athletics were also presented. After the ceremony the students, parents and staff enjoyed a dinner and dance at a local banquet hall.
  Bond Elementary Awards Ceremony 2015
  Tuesday Bond Academy celebrated the academic, arts and athletic sucess of our students. The students were presented with their "Winit" certificates recognizing their participation in school life at Bond. Certificates of excellence were also given for individual success in academics, the arts and sports. Thank you to the students, parents and teachers for their enthusiastic response to the award winners.
