On the first day of October, Grades 7 to 10 students at Bond gathered on campus and had an exciting teambuilding day together. This is the second year Bond has had this teambuilding event. The students created names for their own teams, then participated and competed as teams in diverse activities, such as an Obstacle Course, Mind Field and Treasure Hunts.

  Bond Alumni Shared Her Experiences at Western University
  On Monday, October 5th, Jessica Ye, one of our Bond Alumni, came back to Bond International College and gave an informative presentation to our Grade 12 students of her experiences at Western University.
  Bond Continues the Terry Fox Run Tradition
  In 2015, the Marathon of Hope celebrates its 35-year anniversary. In order to continue Terry Fox’s legacy and help keep his dream alive of finding a cure for cancer, on October 8th, Bond Academy and Bond International College students and teachers participated together with the ones from Bond International College in one of our annual traditions – the Terry Fox Run.
  U20 Flag Football Tournament
  On Wednesday, October 14th, Bond competed in the U20 Flag Football Tournament at Fieldstone Day School. For many, on Bond’s team, this was their very first time to participating in the Tournament.
  Bond Race for the SSAF Cross Country Championship
  It was the culmination of the Cross Country Running season! Last Friday, Oct. 16th, Grade 1-8 students from Bond Academy participated in the SSAF Cross Country Running Championship competition at Sunnybrook Park in Toronto.
  Quigley's Edwards Gardens
  A beautiful garden is located by the entrance of Bond campus, which has recently been named “Quigley’s Edwards Gardens”. For the past few years, Ed Quigley, one of Bond’s senior Math Teachers, has volunteered to plant some of his award winning dahlias in the garden and has turned it into a colorful display for people to enjoy each day.
  Bond Exhibited at Toronto Private School Fair
  On Oct. 17th, Bond, together with over 70 other schools, attended the 13th annual Toronto Private School Expo organized by Our Kids Media, at Roy Thomson Hall downtown Toronto. “Healthy mind, healthy body. At Bond, we offer our students not only the academic education, but also the physical education, in order to prepare them for the real world.” said John Healey, Principal of Bond Academy Elementary and the Montessori Casa Program.
