Bond Talent Show and Sleepover

As an annual tradition, Bond talent show and sleepover event was held on March 3rd. The main categories of this event included a Talent Show and a Sleepover that raised funds for the Children’s Breakfast Club. Parents were invited to enjoy these meaningful evening activities with the students. This year, Bond raised $1173.10 in total!A big thank you to all Bond students, parents and staff who made this event a success!

  Bond Competed in the U14 Girls Volleyball Finals
  On February 28th, the Bond’s Volleyball Team, comprised of girls aged 14 and under, went to Vaughan Sportsplex II to compete against seven other private schools in the U14 Girls Volleyball Finals. After winning the games in the morning, Bond got in the semi-finals by winning the last game 25 to19. “We made it all the way to the semi-finals. We are very proud of everyone’s determination and consistent improvement.”
  Bond Earned Silver Medal at the U14 Boys Basketball Championship
  On Mar 1st, the U14 Boys Basketball Finals were held at Bond. The final four teams competed against each other for the 2017 Basketball Champion. The Bond U14 Boys Basketball Team showed a great deal of enthusiasm and energy. A big thank you to the team, their coaches and parents who showed great dedication! We are really proud of every single player on this team.
  Bond U20 Girls’ Volleyball Championship
  On March 2nd, the Bond Girls’ Volleyball Team went to Toronto Waldorf School to compete against seven other private schools in the U20 Girls’ Volleyball Championship.Both coaches are very proud of everyone’s hard work, determination, and consistent improvement. “The Bond U20 Girls’ Volleyball team had a great season. We’ve been practicing quite often recently, and the girls worked very hard.” We look forward to another amazing season! Go Bond Go!
  Bond Performed at the Ontario Vocal Festival
  On March 6th, Bond Senior Choir went to Mayfield Secondary School with their teachers to perform at the Ontario Vocal Festival of Canada. This non-competitive vocal festival is to encourage students to perform without any competition between schools. Afterwards, a special award was presented to Puja, a Bond Grade 6 student, for the Great Spirit as a leader in the choir. Bravo, Bond Senior Choir! We are really proud of you all!
  An Evolution Workshop at Bond
  On March 23rd, an evolution workshop was held at Bond for our Grades 11 and 12 Biology students. During the workshop, students learned Primate Phylogenetic Tree, Hominin Phylogenetic Tree, as well as the differences between Non-Human Great Apes and Human Great Apes. After the informative presentation, the students were encouraged to compare the differences between Non-Human head scale and Human head scale based on the bone clones.
  Bond’s Family Fun Night and Magic Show
  On March 24th, The Bond Academy Community Council & Bond Academy Junior Council presented its annual Family Fun Night. It was an evening of wonderful family fun! It was a fun-packed night planned for Bond families to enjoy a memorable event.
  The Our Kids Camp Scholarships
  The Our Kids have launched the camp scholarship contest and our campers and prospect families are eligible to win $500. Share the contest with existing and new families and they’ll all have a chance to win one of 20 $500 scholarships for our summer 2017 programs.
